Two Brownsville high school students taken to hospital after fight
Two Brownsville Area High School students were taken to a local hospital as a precaution after they were attacked during a fight involving at least six students Monday afternoon, according to state police.
At least four students allegedly attacked a 15-year-old female student just before 3 p.m. at the high school, pulling her to the ground, kicking her and punching her. A school official and school police officer stepped in, along with a 16-year-old female student, who was also hurt. One of the students allegedly resisted arrest, according to state police Trooper Robert Broadwater.
The two girls suffered minor scratches and bruises. State police are continuing their investigation.
