Waynesburg University named to Money magazine list

“In recent years, the value of a Waynesburg University education has consistently received national attention,” said Douglas G. Lee, university president. “We are proud to offer robust academic programs that deliver the best value and outcomes for our students.”

According to MONEY’s website, the ranking seeks “to find the schools that successfully combine quality and affordability.”

Points included:

n Net cost: According to the College Board, tuition, room and board at Waynesburg is more than $10,000 below the national average for a private, non-profit, four-year college.

n Student loan repayment and default risk: Student loan default rate of 4.0 percent is far below the national average of 10.8 percent.

n Outcomes: 99% of 2017 surveyed graduates reported working or studying in their chosen fields within one year of graduation.
