Woman charged in three Uniontown robberies
A Gibsonia woman is facing charges in a string of robberies committed at Uniontown businesses.
Nicole Elaine Lilley, 33, of Fairview Avenue reportedly told police she robbed the businesses to buy narcotics. She was arrested after she allegedly attempted to rob Fox蘑菇视频 Pizza Sunday. She is also accused of robbing DiMarco蘑菇视频 Bistro & Cantina and The Vapor Hut Nov. 21. She confessed to each crime, Uniontown City Police said.
According to the affidavit of probable cause filed in Sunday蘑菇视频 case, Lilley went into Fox蘑菇视频 Pizza at about 2 p.m. and told an employee, Halyrae Geary, to open the cash register. Geary responded, 鈥淚鈥檓 not going to do that,鈥� and Lilley allegedly demanded she open the register two or three more times. Lilley left, and Uniontown City Police found a woman matching the suspect蘑菇视频 description on West Main Street. She reportedly walked away from police, who saw a bulge in the waistband of her pants. She was arrested and identified herself as Lilley.
Lilley told police Geary did open the register at Fox蘑菇视频 Pizza, but she decided to leave when she saw only a small amount of money. She told police she is addicted to stimulants, including meth, cocaine and crack. She said she robbed the stores because she wanted to stay awake, according to court documents.
Police said she also explained the robberies at The Vapor Hut and DiMarco蘑菇视频 鈥渋n detail.鈥�
鈥淟illey advised that she is willing to take her punishment from the district attorney蘑菇视频 office,鈥� Uniontown City Police Cpl. D.J. Dewitt wrote in the affidavit. 鈥淟illey stated she鈥檒l do the district attorney蘑菇视频 job, stating she would go to [SCI] Muncy for four years with a 10 year probation tail.鈥�
At about 5 p.m. Nov. 21, Lilley allegedly demanded money from DiMarco蘑菇视频 employee Rebecca Cunningham. Lilley allegedly had a hand in her pocket and a hand on Cunningham蘑菇视频 shoulder, telling her 鈥淒on鈥檛 act stupid. You know how to open it,鈥� and 鈥淚 know how to use it,鈥� according to the affidavit.
About 1陆 hours later, she allegedly grabbed employee Brett Mett at The Vapor Hut and demanded money from the cash register. She was caught on surveillance footage and fled with cash. She used the money from both robberies to buy narcotics, she told police, according to court documents.
She is charged with three counts each of robbery and theft, two counts of receiving stolen property and one count each of attempted robbery and attempted theft. Her total bail amount is $85,000. Lilley remains in Fayette County Prison, unable to post bail.
