State police searching for missing 87-year-old man in Dunbar

State police troopers are searching the woods in Dunbar Township for an 87-year-old man who reportedly disappeared from his Rankin Airshaft Road home Monday night.

Luther “Lukie” Bryner had not been located as of about 3:45 p.m., according to state police. He was categorized as an endangered person by police.

He was last seen on foot near his home at about 10:30 p.m. wearing a T-shirt and pajama pants, both light-colored. He has gray hair, hazel eyes, weighs about 140 pounds and is 5-feet 9-inches tall.

“Police believe this person may be at special risk of harm or injury and may be confused,” state police said.

Anyone with information is asked to call 911 or state police at the Uniontown barracks at (724) 439-7111.
