A 21-year-old Connellsville man is facing multiple felony charges for allegedly raping a 13-year-old girl at a party in October.
Christopher Tyrone Colbert, of East Apple Street was charged Monday by state police with two counts each of rape, statutory sexual assault, corruption of minors and indecent assault and one count each of unlawful contact with a minor, sexual assault and endangering the welfare of children.

According to the affidavit of probable cause filed in his case, the girlÄ¢¹½ÊÓƵ mother reported the alleged rape when she found Facebook messages between the girl and Colbert. Police interviewed the girl in December. She told them they were at a party where he allegedly gave her alcohol and marijuana. She said she fell asleep and woke up to Colbert kissing her. She asked him to stop, but alleged he instead raped her. They later went to sleep with another person in the bed. When they woke up, he reportedly made advances, and she told him no. She told police he raped her again. The girl said Colbert knew she was 13.
The second person in the room corroborated the girlÄ¢¹½ÊÓƵ story and said he also groped her in the bed, police said.
Colbert was arraigned Monday before Magisterial District Judge Ronald Haggerty Jr., who set bail at $50,000. Colbert remains in Fayette County Prison in lieu of bail.
