U.S. Marshals arrest Vanderbilt homicide suspect in Monroeville
The U.S. Marshals Western Pennsylvania Fugitive Task Force arrested a man in Monroeville who was wanted in the fatal shooting of a 29-year-old man in Vanderbilt Sept. 17.
Omari Sei-Tu Parker Jr., 18, of New Kensington was arrested without incident last week at a hotel in the 3900 block of Monroeville Boulevard by the task force, Monroeville Police, the Penn Township Police K-9 Unit and Pittsburgh Police.
Parker was identified as a fifth suspect in the death of Tywain J. Reid in June. Reid was gunned down at the intersection of Center and Walnut Streets at about 8:50 p.m. Police allege the incident began as a drug robbery. Also charged were Djamar “Bloody” Rodgers, 26, of McKeesport, Peaches Spring Logan, 41, and her son Roy William Aller Jr., 21, both of Dawson and Sjon-Luc Bochnak, 26, of Dunbar.
Parker was charged with two counts of criminal homicide and three counts of robbery. He was arraigned Friday before Magisterial District Judge Richard Kasunic II, who denied bail in the case.
ParkerĢƵ preliminary hearing is tentatively scheduled for 1:30 p.m. July 31.
