Homicide warrant issued for Tarentum man in Vanderbilt shooting
An arrest warrant was issued Friday for an 18-year-old Tarentum man charged in a fatal shooting on a Vanderbilt road in September.
U.S. Marshals are offering a reward for information leading to the arrest of Omari Sei-Tu Parker Jr. He is considered armed and dangerous, and his location is not known, according to state police.
Authorities allege Parker was the second shooter involved in the death of Tywain J. Reid, who was gunned down at the intersection of Center and Walnut Streets at about 8:50 p.m. Sept. 17.
Parker was the fifth person charged in ReidĢƵ death, which police allege began as a drug robbery. Djamar “Bloody” Rodgers, 26, of McKeesport was identified by police as the alleged first shooter. Peaches Spring Logan, 41, and her son Roy William Aller Jr., 21, both of Dawson and Sjon-Luc Bochnak, 26, of Dunbar are also charged in the case. Logan entered a guilty plea to robbery June 5 and was sentenced to five to 10 years in prison. Rodgers, Aller and Bochnak are awaiting trial and remain incarcerated.
Callers with information on Parker can remain anonymous. Anyone with information is asked to call state police in Uniontown at 724-439-7111 or Fayette County Crime Stoppers at 724-320-2042.
