An arrest warrant has been issued for a Rostraver Township woman who allegedly punched and tried to bite police officers who found her passed out at a retail store.

Police said they were called to Gabe’s department store on Finley Road on June 21, and found Precious Morrison, 38, lying on the floor. When they roused her to ask what was wrong, Morrison got up, and as police approached her she allegedly punched one officer in the chest, according to court paperwork.

Another officer grabbed her from behind, and police handcuffed her, according to the complaint. Police said Morrison smelled of alcohol, and noted in a complaint that they found a mostly empty bottle of vodka in her purse.

When they got her outside, Morrison allegedly tried to bite an officer several times and spit at EMS workers.

She was charged with aggravated assault, resisting arrest and public drunkenness.
