One person injured after crashing into Smithfield Pharmacy
One person was injured after crashing into Smithfield Pharmacy at the intersection of Main Street and Church Street about 2:15 p.m. Monday.
State police are investigating. They did not immediately release the name of the injured person, the extent of injuries or cause of the crash. Officials said the driver reported a head injury.
The front window of the pharmacy was smashed after the crash, and bricks were crumbled around the building’s exterior. Workers were attempting to secure the building Monday afternoon, said a pharmacy employee.
Traffic was delayed on Main Street after the vehicle was towed.
