Belle Vernon man charged with sexually assault of teen
A Belle Vernon man was arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting a 14-year-old girl at his home earlier this week.
Jonathon Herman Nugara, 25, of Market Street is charged with unlawful restraint, corruption of minors, endangering the welfare of children, simple assault, indecent assault and indecent assault of a person less than 16.
According to the affidavit of probable cause filed in his case, Nugara pinned the girl on a bed, restrained her and touched her inappropriately. She shoved his hand away, police said. The alleged contact occurred between Sunday night and Monday morning. She made a report to state police during the early morning hours Monday.

Nugara was arraigned Monday before on-call Fayette County Magisterial District Judge Ronald Haggerty Jr., who set bail at $20,000. Nugara was released from Fayette County Prison later that day after bond was posted on his behalf.
His preliminary hearing is tentatively scheduled for 8:30 a.m. June 10.
