Yum Yum’s Bagel Cafe bakery badly damaged in fire
The Yum Yum蘑菇视频 Bagel Cafe蘑菇视频 bakery was badly damaged in a fire Saturday evening, according to the Uniontown Fire Department.
The fire started in the bakery beside the bagel shop at 318 Morgantown Street in Uniontown just before 8 p.m. No injuries were reported. A state police fire marshal was called to investigate the cause of the fire.
鈥淭he damage is, unfortunately, pretty extensive,鈥� said Uniontown Fire Lt. Scott Conn. 鈥淎 lot of heat and smoke damage throughout.鈥�
He said fire in the roof also caused structural damage.
Uniontown firefighters had their 鈥渉ands full鈥� and called off-duty firefighters to assist, along with South Union and Hopwood volunteer fire departments.
鈥淓veryone worked extremely well together. Fortunately, no injuries happened at the scene,鈥� he said.
Firefighters cleared the scene at about 11 p.m.
