Clarification
Former Uniontown mayor Bernie Kasievich said his company, Karnuts Towing and Salvage LLC, and another business had been on Uniontown’s towing list for years. Kasievich removed his business from the list when he became mayor to avoid any conflicts of interest, but when he resigned the post, his business was automatically placed back on the list. That information was not included in a Thursday article about a lawsuit filed against the city.
