Clarification
Melany Chrash, Greg Chrash, Linda Kozlovich and William Kozlovich, all residents of the 51st Legislative District, joined a petition filed by state Rep. Matthew Dowling to remove his name from the November ballot in that district. While the Kozloviches and Melany Chrash are identified in the petition as members of the Fayette County Republican Committee, county Republican Party Chairwoman Michelle Mowry said on Monday that the county party committee has no involvement in the petition, clarifying that the three members acted independently in joining the filing.
