Uniontown man charged in sexual assault case
A Uniontown man is wanted on multiple felonies related to the alleged rape of a teenage girl.
State police charged David Albert Spaw, 22, Saturday with rape, sexual assault, strangulation and unlawful restraint.
According to the criminal complaint, police spoke to the girl at Uniontown Hospital at about 6 a.m. July 18.
She told investigators the assault occurred hours earlier when she met Spaw at a home on Constantine Road in Menallen Township.
According to the complaint, the alleged victim was transported to Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, W.Va., for treatment.
There is an active warrant for Spaw’s arrest.
