28 hospitalized following bus crash in Saltlick Township

State police are investigating after a school bus crash hospitalized 28 people, mostly juveniles, Wednesday morning.

According to police, the crash occurred at about 8:20 a.m. in Saltlick Township. A school bus owned by Christian Camps of Pittsburgh was driving south on Indian Creek Valley Road when it went off the road and crashed into a wooden fence.

No other vehicles were involved.

Three of those injured were adults. Police said the 25 juveniles who were injured varied widely in age.

The driver, who was not identified, told police he lost control of the vehicle. State police continue to investigate the accident.
