State police are seeking information after a dog was shot with a pellet gun in South Union Township last week.

Police were called Wednesday to Kimberly Drive, where a woman told troopers that her dog had escaped their fenced yard the day prior at about 12:30 p.m. and returned at about 2 p.m.

Police said the dog had been shot multiple times by a pellet gun. The dog is a boxer mix weighing about 70 pounds.
