Connellsville man charged in alleged sexual assault
State police charged a Connellsville man Tuesday in connection to an alleged sexual assault in February.
Jerome Wallace Jr., 39, faces felonies of sexual assault, aggravated indecent assault and involuntary deviate sexual intercourse.
According to the criminal complaint, Wallace sexually assaulted a woman on Feb. 23 at the Melody Motor Lodge, located at 1607 Morrell Avenue in Dunbar Township.
The woman reported the assault the following day, and told police that she repeatedly told Wallace to stop during the assault, according to court paperwork.
There is an active warrant for Wallace’s arrest.
