More than 300 undergraduate, graduate and doctoral students crossed the stage during Waynesburg UniversityÄ¢¹½ÊÓÆµ commencement ceremony Sunday.

Emily Barker of Mount Sterling, Ohio, was co-valedictorian for the class along with Abigail Speer of Bridgeville. She delivered the valedictory address; Walter Paskert of Washington spoke as representative for the graduate students.

The Douglas G. and Kathryn D. Lee Servant Leadership Award went to Tyler Kunz of Alliance, Ohio.

SundayÄ¢¹½ÊÓÆµ ceremony also included the commissioning of Samuel Hamilton of Bowie, Md., who took his oath to become a second lieutenant in the U.S. Army.
