Douglas “Joe” Leech, Sr., 93, of Smithfield, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, December 12, 2025, passing away peacefully at home with his loving family by his side.
The family will receive friends and family at Mount Moriah Baptist Church, Smithfield, from 10 to 11 a.m., the hour of service, on Tuesday, December 16, with the Reverend Jay Hurley and Pastor Darrell Edgar officiating. Interment with military honors will follow at the Mount Moriah Baptist Cemetery, Smithfield.
