Charles “Charlie” Bennett, 64, of Morgantown, W.Va., passed away Monday, December 15, 2025, in Monongalia General Hospital, Morgantown. He was born Saturday, April 22, 1961, in Morgantown, a son of the late Dallas Bennett and Margaret Deavers Bennett.
Charlie was a graduate of Albert Gallatin High School, Class of 1978 and went on to business school in Charleston, W.Va.
He was an avid Steelers fan and his favorite college football team was Ohio State. Charlie had the ability to make people laugh and could bring a smile to anyone’s face.
He is survived by four brothers, Dallas (Jamie) Bennett of Smithfield, Donald (Rhonda) Bennett of Chicago, Ill., Carl Bennett of Lake Lynn, Mike Bennett of Morgantown; several nieces and nephews; and many friends.
Friends will be received in the LOUIS E. RUDOLPH FUNERAL HOME, Thomas B. Rudolph, funeral director and supervisor, Point Marion, Saturday, December 20, from 2 to 6 p.m., the hour of service, with Pastor Jerry Shiflett officiating. Interment will be private.
