Jerrad Wesley Kerr
West Leisenring
Jerrad Wesley “Jayrod” Kerr, 51, of West Leisenring, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, December 10, 2025.
He was born October 18, 1974, in Morgantown, W.Va., to Christie Lou McMillen Kerr and the late William Bradford Kerr Sr.
Jerrad will be fondly remembered as being kind-hearted, loving, caring, and devoted. He was incredibly funny, and had a contagious sense of humor. Making people laugh brought him great joy. He loved to tease others, always had a joke, and could make any bad situation better.

Jerrad was a firm believer in his 2nd Amendment Rights. He was passionate about his right to bear arms and held his country in high regard.
He was incredibly knowledgeable about history of all kinds, and would certainly be regarded as a “history buff”. No matter what question was asked of him, he knew the answer.
In his spare time, Jerrad loved listening to music, in particular, older country, but especially that of Johnny Cash.
He was also a movie aficionado, enjoying movies over a plethora of genres, but especially horror films.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his loving wife, Emily Pierce Kerr, whom he spent 23 wonderful years with; his dogs, whom he loved deeply and regarded as his children, Bella and Rimley; brothers, Brad (Melissa) Kerr Jr., and Brian Kerr; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; several cousins; mother-in-law, Erma (Ernest “Rusty”) Riggar; father-in-law, Robert (Linda) Pierce Sr.; brothers-in-law, Robert (Alisa) Pierce Jr.; Michael (Megan) Pierce, and Russell (Hayley) Riggar; as well as his very close friend, whom he considered to be a brother, Andrew Petretta.
