Thomas Greenwood, Jr., 87, of Smithfield, passed away Tuesday, March 31, 2026, in his home, with his loving family by his side.
He was born September 25, 1938, in Republic.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Mary Medved Greenwood and Thomas Greenwood, Sr.; and his siblings, Mary Salanick, Nellie Hopwood and Kathy Hiles-Furlong.
Surviving are his wife of 67 years, Ethel; son, Thomas W. Greenwood and wife Terri; his grandchildren, Matthew Greenwood, and Tyler Greenwood and wife Kelcey; along with great- grandchildren, Chase, Maci and Olivia; siblings, Joan Winkelvoss and husband Fuzzy, Dorothy Lewis, Charlotte Barton, and George Greenwood and wife Cathy; and many nieces, nephews and loving in-laws.
The family will receive friends and family in the DEAN C. WHITMARSH FUNERAL HOME, 134 West Church Street, Fairchance, Saturday, April 4, from 1 until the time of a funeral service at 3 p.m., with Carl Desmartin officiating.
