Marlene Evans, 90, of Uniontown, passed away peacefully Thursday, April 2, 2026, in Jennie’s Personal Care Home.
She was born Thursday, September 19, 1935, in Hopwood, to the late Delfo and Grace Bell Tamburri.
In addition to her parents, Marlene was preceded in death by her husband, John Evans; and brother, Ernest Tamburri.
Left to cherish her memories are her children, Brian Evans (Susan Polito), Dana Check (Greg), Eric Evans (Marjorie); grandchildren, Ryan Krofcheck, Rebecca Krofcheck, Taylor Evans (Hoyles), Elyssa Roderique, Gianna Polito, Rilee Spegar, Stephen Spegar; great-grandson, Steven Roderique; her sister-in-law, Betty Tamburri; and several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, April 25, in the American Legion Post 51, 508 East Main Street, Uniontown, PA 15401.
Arrangements are under the direction of TERRAVECCHIA-HAKY HOME FOR FUNERALS, 515 N. Main Street, Masontown, PA 15461.
