Arlene Gail Kelley, 94, formerly of Dilliner, passed away peacefully Wednesday, February 4, 2026, in Uniontown Hospital, Uniontown. She was born March 8, 1931, in Fairchance, the eldest daughter of the late Edward G. Moser and Ethel Cunningham Moser.

Arlene was a 1948 graduate of the former Fairchance High School. During her senior year, she worked Saturdays at the White Front Market in Fairchance, her only employment outside the home before dedicating her life to being a devoted wife and mother.

On June 27, 1948, she married Patrick F. Kelley Sr.

Arlene was a loving and dedicated mother to her four children: Kathy (Brian) Kittel of Jacksonville, Fla.; Patrick F. Kelley Jr. of St. Clairsville, Ohio; the late Mark A. Kelley; and Paulette D. Lucyk of Bridgeport, W.Va. She was a proud grandmother to six grandchildren: Kelly (Ronnie) Gaskins, the late Erica Wilkes, Patrick (Heather) Kelley III, Michael (Rebecca) Kelley, Victoria Sarff, and Jennifer Kittel. Arlene was also a cherished great-grandmother to seven great- grandchildren: Kyndra, Ian, Dylan, Daisy, Kai, Jon, and Donovan.

In addition to her parents, Arlene was preceded in death by her sister, Evelyn Suder; her brother, Donald Moser; her husband, Patrick F. Kelley Sr.; a son, Mark Kelley; one granddaughter, Erica Wilkes; and her son-in-law, Michael Lucyk.

Arlene was a quiet and gentle soul who always tried to get along with everyone she met. A devout Christian, she shared many happy times with her fellow church members at the Greensboro Presbyterian Church, where she deeply valued friendship and fellowship.

Arlene had a zest for life and many interests. She loved to travel and especially enjoyed taking bus trips with friends. In her quieter moments, she could often be found working crossword puzzles or reading detective stories, with Murder, She Wrote being her favorite television show. She also loved to bake and was well known at church for her delicious apple pies and chocolate chip cookies – and her fantasy fudge was simply the best.

Arlene will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who were blessed to know her.

Her family will receive friends in the RICHARD R. HEROD FUNERAL HOME, Point Marion, Tuesday, February 10, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., the hour of service, with the Rev. Larry Douglas officiating. Private interment follows in Maple Grove Cemetery, Fairchance.
