Joyce E. Burge, 77, of Point Marion, died Monday, February 16, 2026, in the Mon Health Medical Center, Morgantown, W.Va., following a brief illness. Born in Morgantown September 23, 1948, she was oldest child of Junior A. White and Margaret E. Jacobs White McIntyre.

Joyce worked at a number of places over the years, including The Carousel in Morgantown, Houze Glass in Point Marion, was the manager of Uno-Mart in Point Marion, and for 12 years a nurses’ aide at MonPointe Nursing Home.

Surviving are her three children and their spouses, Arthur R. “Ronnie” Jordan (Crystal), Jr. of Point Marion, Karmen L. Metros (Charles) of Uniontown, and Faith R. Rizer (Jimmy) of Lake Lynn; seven grandchildren, Toni Farber, Colbey Jordan, Ginger Jordan, Aless Saluga, Elyssa, James and Jordan Rizer; five great- grandchildren, Remmington, Jamison, Aulora, Jackson and Hope; one sister, Karen Phillips of Point Marion; and three brothers, Benny White of Grafton, W.Va., Randy White of Core, W.Va., and Dana McIntyre of Smithfield; a dear friend and neighbor, Jack Clark; and a number of nieces and nephews and their families. She was loved by all who knew her, and will be dearly missed.

Deceased are a brother, John “Huck” White; and a sister, Alice, in infancy.

Friends will be received 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday, February 19, in the Point Marion Apostolic Church, 10 Third Avenue, Point Marion, where visitation continues from 10 until the 11 a.m. hour of service Friday, February 20, with the Rev. David Lee Corob officiating.

Arrangements are in the care of the RICHARD R. HEROD FUNERAL HOME, Point Marion.
