Betsy L. Barlow, 86, of Addison, passed away Wednesday, February 18, 2026, at Henry Clay Villa, Markleysburg.
She was born May 1, 1939, a daughter of William and Betty Blubaugh Wright.
Her parents, husband, John and son, Johnny preceded her in death.
She is survived by sons, Gary (Jennifer) of Grantsville, Md. and William (Rebecca) of Confluence; grandchildren: Garrison and Allison Barlow, Molly (Lady) Barlow and Abigail and Gabriel Barlow; and a sister, Joyce Fako of Pittsburgh.
Betsy was a member of the Addison Community Methodist Chapel, Addison Vol. Fire Dept. Ladies Auxiliary, United Methodist Women and the Addison Methodist Sunday School Class.
She was a 1956 graduate of Turkeyfoot Valley Area High School and Cumberland Memorial Hospital School of Nursing. She was employed at various times as the school nurse at Turkeyfoot Valley Area School District and a charge nurse at Spear Convalescent Home, Markleysburg.
There will be no viewing or visitation. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 23, in the Addison Community Methodist Chapel with the Reverend Samuel McClintock officiating. A luncheon and time to socialize will follow the service.
The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff at WVU Ruby Hospital and at Henry Clay Villa.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the Confluence Boy Scout Troop or the Addison Vol. Fire Dept.
