Kenneth Max, Hostetler, 74, of Confluence, passed away on Sunday, January 4, 2026, at his home with his loving family by his side.
He was born January 15, 1951, the son of Max and Irene Burnworth Hostetler.
Ken was a very private person. His greatest passion was his trucks; he could sit for hours and talk about trucks and old vehicles.
Ken and his wife, Linda owned K+L Transport.
Ken’s son Rob, Hostetler and brother, Butch Hostetler preceded him in death.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Ritenour Hostetler; parents, Max and Irene Hostetler; daughter, Marci (Harry) Hinzy; stepdaughter, Crystal (Jeff) Neratka; stepson, Chris (Jennifer) Bradshaw; grandchildren: Kyle (Danielle) Hostetler, Zack (Krystal) Hostetler, Travis (Kaylee) Myers, Cameron (Brooke) Ringer, Kayla Ringer, Katie, Joe, Jack and Jake Bradshaw; seven great-grandchildren; and brothers: John (Marsha) Hostetler, Dave (Tonya) Hostetler and Terry (Diane) Hostetler.
Visitation will be held in the DONALD R. CRAWFORD FUNERAL HOME, FARMINGTON, from 3 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, January 7. Additional visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the hour of the funeral service at 11 a.m. on Thursday, January 8, with Pastor Tim Wotring officiating. Interment will follow in Johnson Chapel Cemetery.
