Marsha L. Smitley Bonk, 75, of Uniontown, passed away Saturday, January 3, 2026, in her home.
She was born October 22, 1950, in Uniontown, the daughter of the late Ray C. and Lela Barnes Smitley.
In addition to her parents, Marsha was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Bonk (2023); and brother, Terry Smitley.
Marsha is survived by her sister, Donna M. Lindsay of Uniontown; and numerous nieces, nephews, and great- nieces and nephews.
She was a member of St. John the Baptist Byzantine Catholic Church.
She was an advocate for Open Doors Disability Advocacy.
Visitation will be held in the DONALD R. CRAWFORD FUNERAL HOME, Hopwood, from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, January 9. A Parastas will be celebrated at 5 p.m. Additional visitation will be held from 9 to 9:30 a.m. Saturday, January 10, when a Panachida Service will be held followed by a Divine Liturgy in St. John the Baptist Byzantine Catholic Church at 10 a.m. Interment will be private in St. John Byzantine Cemetery.
