Frank Obrovac

Frank Obrovac, 90, of Uniontown, passed away Monday, January 12, 2026, in Ruby Memorial Hospital. He was born May 12, 1935, in Uniontown, a son of the late Mile Obrovac and Mary Sabatula Obrovac.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Oma Jean Savage Obrovac; brothers, George Obrovac, Michael Obrovac and infant brother, Eli Obrovac; sisters, Anna Lalakulich, Mary Rabatin, Dorothy O’lone, Christina Murin, Barbara Obrovac and infant sister, Agnes.
Frank was a 1953 graduate of Uniontown High School. He worked as a service repairman for Sears.
Frank was a member of Fayette County Horse Owners Association and a member of Croatian Lodge #72.
He enjoyed playing the lottery, cattle farming and his morning visits with the crew at McDonalds.
Frank served in the United States Army during Vietnam.
Left to cherish Frank’s memory are his daughter, Holly Lynn Obrovac of Alamogordo, N.M.; and longtime friend, Betty Greely.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the ANDREW D. FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORIES, INC., 80 Morgantown Street, Uniontown, where family and friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, January 18. Visitation will continue Monday, January 19, from 10 until the time of a service at 11 a.m. celebrating Frank’s life, with the Rev. Bev Roscoe officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Saint Macrina Cemetery.
