Eric Dwayne Smith, 61, of Jefferson Township, Perryopolis, passed away Friday, June 5, 2026, in WVU Uniontown Hospital, Uniontown. He was born May 13, 1965 in Uniontown, a son of James A. and Shirley Francis Campbell Smith.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by aunts and uncles, Geraldine Campbell, Dwayne Everly, Jenny Campbell Heilman, Floyd Everly, Robert Campbell, Alta Campbell Sheetz.
Eric is survived by his brother, Lester Lee Smith and his wife, Francesca; aunts and uncles, Charles Raymond Campbell, Georgie Campbell Gray, Thelma Campbell; and many cousins.
He was self employed as a handyman for many years.
Eric’s family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, June 12, in the BLAIR-LOWTHER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, 305 Rear Independence Street, Perryopolis, where his funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 13. Interment will follow in Bowman Flatwoods Cemetery, Vanderbilt.
