Patricia L. Carter, 80, of Uniontown, passed away Thursday, June 25, 2026. She was born April 1, 1946 in Uniontown, the daughter of the late Rexford Carter and Frances Creamer Carter.
Patricia was a 1964 graduate of South Union High School and graduated from California University with a degree in education. She taught at Normalville Elementary School for 30 plus years.
She was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church, where she taught at the preschool and was on the committee for the Pumpkin Festival and Chick n Stick.
Patricia was active with the BPW and Fayette County RTO. She was a member of PSEA.
Patricia enjoyed painting, knitting and crocheting.
Patricia left behind her beloved fur babies, Misty and Midnight.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the ANDREW D. FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORIES, INC., 80 Morgantown Street, Uniontown. A graveside service celebrating Patricia’s life will be held at Sylvan Heights Cemetery at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 2, with the Rev. Ryan Washabaugh officiating.
