Ruth Ilene Wilburn Walters, 82, of Georges Township, passed away unexpectedly in her home Wednesday, March 4, 2026.
She was born April 19, 1943 in Garrett County, Md.
Preceding her in death were parents, Elmer and Ada Fazenbaker Wilburn; brother, Clark “Newt” Wilburn; husband, Donald “Woody” Walters; and grandson, John Heinbaugh.
Surviving are two sons and a daughter, John Heinbaugh, Lynn Heinbaugh and Ronald Heinbaugh; stepchildren, Judy and Paul Forsythe, Cathy and Jim Gibson, Donald and April Walters, Eugene Walters, Rich and Kelly Walters and Janet Walters; many grandchildren, great- grandchildren and great- great-grandchildren; and her brother, Elmer Wilburn.
It was Ruth’s request for no public services to be held.
