Betty Andaloro
December 22, 1931 – March 8, 2026
Elizabeth “Betty” Palic Andaloro passed away peacefully March 8, 2026, at the age of 94, in Mt. Macrina Manor after a short stay for rehab. Born December 22, 1931, in Uniontown, Betty was the daughter of John and Elizabeth Slampak Palic.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Joseph; her sons, Steve Andaloro and John Andaloro; her granddaughter, Tylar Andaloro; her sister, Eleanor Rider; and her brother, John Palic.
She is survived by her daughters, Laura Roman and husband Bernie, and Diane Sandstrom and husband Peter; her daughters-in-law, Lyn Andaloro and Jane Andaloro; four grandchildren and five great- grandchildren.
Betty graduated from North Union High School in 1947 and worked as a legal secretary until she retired.
She enjoyed attending bingo, working acrostic puzzles, visiting local casinos, and caring for her cat, Misty.
She was a lifelong member of St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church in Uniontown.
Friends and family will be received in the STEPHEN R. HAKY FUNERAL HOME, 603 N. Gallatin Avenue Ext., Uniontown, from 2 to 7 p.m. Thursday, March 12, and Friday, March 13, when a blessing service will be held at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at Mt. Macrina Cemetery, Uniontown.
Betty will be remembered not only for the life she lived, but for the love she gave, the laughter she shared, and the legacy she leaves behind. Her memory will forever be cherished in the hearts of her family and friends. She will be deeply missed.
