Daisy Mae Cumberland, 79, of Elizabeth, passed away Wednesday, March 11, 2026, in Jefferson Hospital.

She was born September 24, 1946, in Confluence, the daughter of the late Chanciey and Rosella Anderson Lowdermilk.

In addition to her parents, Daisy was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Cumberland; and sister, Patty Lowdermilk.

Daisy is survived by her daughters, Paula Barnes (Cleve) of Elizabeth, and Brenda Haines (Derrick) of Elizabeth; her granddaughter, Tara Amanda Barnes; niece, Patty Ford; and many other nieces and nephews.

Daisy was a cook for Puck Jones Restaurant in Elizabeth for over 30 years.

She enjoyed cooking, crafts, gardening, and camping at Big Bear Campground. She loved to spend time with her family and friends especially her granddaughter.

Visitation will be held in the DONALD R. CRAWFORD FUNERAL HOME, Hopwood, from 3 to 7 p.m. Sunday, March 15. Additional visitation will be held Monday, March 16, from 10 until the hour of the funeral service at 11 a.m., with Pastor David Herring officiating. Interment will follow in Sansom Chapel Cemetery.
