Abe Richard Burnsworth, Sr., 75, of Masontown, passed away Monday, March 16, 2026, in his home.
He was born in Uniontown March 27, 1950, a son of the late Brack and Anna Shultz Burnsworth.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers, Phil, Brack, Jr., Emerson and Gene Burnsworth; sisters, Louise Bogol, Betty Poole and Mary Martinko.
Abe was a graduate of German Township High School and served in the U.S. Air Force.
He was employed as a carpenter at Barnes Builder.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Bonny Uhl Burnsworth; daughter, Amy Burnsworth Blair of Point Marion; son, Abe Richard Burnsworth, Jr. and spouse Daniel Drane of Butler; sisters, Connie Lou Smith of North Carolina and Beatrice Mitchell of Uniontown; brother, Alfred Burnsworth of Georgia; grandchildren, Hunter Blair, Dustin Blair and Lacey Blair; and many nephews and nieces.
To honor Abe’s wishes, there will be no viewing or service.
