Goldie Mansberry, 82, of Fairchance, rejoined her Lord and family on Monday, March 16, 2026. She was born on the Fourth of July and she sure was a firecracker! She loved celebrating her and her country’s birthday, especially with her brother, Ed Dodson.
Goldie cherished her family. Even after the loss of three of her children, Robin, Rob and Mike, she persevered through grief and illnesses to enjoy life with her daughter, Cheryl; son-in-law, Scott; and numerous friends she made along her journeys.
She created patriotic paintings, camped at Big Bear and loved her annual trips to Florida. The greatest joys in her life were her grandchildren, Robbie Fields and Mollie Glover. Goldie lived her life by sharing smiles, kind words or acts, along with some strong words of advice, when she felt family or friends needed them. She often encouraged others to find enjoyment in life through God’s love, showing kindness to others, and celebrating family and friends while you still can.
A private burial is planned.
