Matthew L. Los, 84, of Uniontown, passed away peacefully Tuesday, March 17, 2026. He was born October 7, 1941 in Uniontown.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Mike and Anna Los; and three siblings, Michael, Anna, and Margaret Los.
Matthew retired from the Gebe and Kocik Tire Company and was a member of St. Therese Roman Catholic Church.
He was a kind and loving husband, who was a true homebody. Matthew loved yardwork, caring for his rose garden, and tending his lily pond filled with lilies and Koi. His specialty was growing fruit producing banana trees. Tending them in the summer months, sheltering them indoors in the winter months, and replanting them in the spring.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife of over 50 years, Diana M. Cole Los; brother-in-law, George Cole (Susan); niece, Roxanne Conchilla (Kevin); and nephew, Jason Cole, all of Uniontown.
To honor Matthew’s wishes, funeral services were private under the direction of the SHELL FUNERAL HOME, INC., followed by interment in Sylvan Heights Cemetery.
