Mabel “Dolly” Tressler, 64, of Dickerson Run, passed away Wednesday, March 25, 2026, in Ruby Memorial Hospital. Mabel was born September 7, 1961, in Mt. Pleasant, a daughter of the late Roy “Buck” Forsythe and Louise McFadden Schwartz.

Left to cherish Dolly’s memories are her husband, Barry Tressler of Dickerson Run; her daughters, Meredith Turner and husband Craig of Markleysburg, Rebecca Jordan and husband Lawrence of Dawson; and son, John and wife Connie of Dickerson Run; eight grandchildren, Gordie, LJ, Nikki, Tanner, Trevor, Lorelai, Annabeth, Rayonna and Robbie; two brothers, Willis McFadden and Daniel Forsythe, both of Connellsville; and the countless friends of her children who considered Dolly their second mom.

She was a Southmoreland High School Class of 1980 graduate. She then attended and graduated from Laurel Business Institute.

Mabel was employed by The Oak House, Uniontown, and The Caring Mission Home Care Services. Mabel dedicated her professional life to caring for others. She was a CNA and medical assistant and cared for many clients in that capacity, while also caring for many family members in their time of need.

When not working, Dolly enjoyed crafting and trying her luck at the local casinos.

In addition to her parents, Dolly was predeceased by her first husband, Donald Swank; a brother, John Forsythe; a sister, Melda Sanner; and her stepdaughter, Stephanie.

Friends will be received in the VITO C. MARTUCCI FUNERAL HOME, LLC., 123 S. 1st Street, West Side, Connellsville, (724) 628-9033, from 1 until the time of a service at 7 p.m. Monday, March 30, with Pastor Dave Herring officiating. Interment will be private.
