GOP sinks to a new low
I watched the Republican Convention and heard a lot of trash talking about Hillary Clinton. I heard Hillary Clinton should be locked up for mismanaging her email account. Really! Imprisoned! Really?
I was ashamed, as an American that our country has sunk so low as to want someone put in prison because they screwed up their email account. Is the real reason they want to imprison Hillary Clinton because they see her and other Democrats as a threat to fascism?
Is this what has become of the Republican Party? Imprison political rivals, round up and imprison or deport whole groups of people, spy on each other, use torture to obtain information and give police unlimited power to enforce the laws anyway they want and imprison anyone that disagrees? All these things were cheered at the Republican Convention just as they were cheered in 1935 Germany.
It showed me how emboldened Tea Party fascists have become and the extent of their hold on American politics.
As a Republican voter, you need to ask yourself: Do you want America to become a police state? Are you OK with putting your neighbor in prison because of their party affiliation? Are you OK with torture?
