Trump is what this country needs
I have felt for years that our politicians were not working for us, the people.
Years ago, I attended a political gathering – the speaker was a senator from Pennsylvania. I had the courage to ask him this question: “Why does our country do more for the people in other countries than our own?” He answered, “You are better off than China, you are better off than Japan, and etc!”
We may have been at that time because that was 30 years ago! I went home very disappointed that I even went to all that trouble to attend that meeting, but it opened my eyes. I have been praying for years that the politicians would change, but that never happened.
Then one day, I heard Donald Trump was going to run for president and he was not a politician. What a miracle! How could this be when his own party was against him? Then I asked myself: Why are they against him? Is it because there is “something going on in politics that we do not know about?”
Well, you judge for yourself. When you see all the lies, all the cheating and all the corruption. It’s not a pretty picture. Trump has made mistakes, but remember, he is not a politician. We all learn from our mistakes, but he sure learned fast what he had to deal with.
I do know and I feel relieved that someone loves America and will do whatever he can for our people. What more can you ask for?
Stand strong, Mr. Trump, with all the abuse against you. Our country surely needs you badly. I love America also. Whatever happened to “Ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country?” Sadly, that has been forgotten
