Russian hackers should be fully investigated

By Bill Horne 4 min read

How many Russian sympathizers does it take to fill a White House? One and then he appoints the rest!

Do you know the difference between an “ultra right nationalist “and a Russian “sympathizer? A brown shirt. Do you know what happens when they work together? Google Poland 1939.

Not very funny is it? It’s not intended to be. On Jan. 20, President Trump took the oath of office. He put his hand on the Bible and said he would protect and defend us “against,” repeat “against” all enemies foreign and domestic.

President Trump won, but at what cost? I am a veteran of the Vietnam War, and I put my life in my country’s hands and God willing, I am still here.

This is my opinion, so don’t blame anybody but me. There is a “stink in the air” around the White House that will only be cleared if there is sunlight and free fresh air put on it. That means a complete investigation.

The Republican and Democratic Parties are only the vehicles to get to the White House, but once you’re there, you must be able to lead all of us! We all used to sing a song that ended with the land of the free and the home of the brave.

I’m calling out the president to be brave! If there is nothing to hide, this will be so easy for you. We vets learned to be brave on the job; now it is your turn! Duty, honor, country, and then “you.” That’s how it works. Ask John McCain, he knows how it works.

Only an independent investigation can air out what and where the stink is coming from. The Russians (a/k/a commies) crossed American borders and caused serious damage to our election system. By hacking into one party’s private communications, then putting out that stolen information and the other party took and used that stolen private communications to help them gain an advantage over the other party. A man called Nixon was removed from office for trying and then lying about doing the same thing.

What is the gravity of what happened here! There is no clause in our Constitution to remedy the damage already done. So, anyone who stands in the way of a fully open independent investigation should check their allegiance to country or just their party. You’re my president; now earn it! Be brave!

Next is giving “aid and comfort to enemies of the United States of America.” We had a general named Benedict Arnold who sold over his country for as this vet says, “30 pieces of silver!” Were Gen. Flynn and his campaign aides giving “aid and comfort to the Russians” during and after the campaign? I do not trust the president’s appointees to fully follow the rule of law, but I give them a chance to request an independent investigation. Make me apologize for doubting their loyalty to their country.

My president has the right to appoint anyone he wants, but does he really want to have the “ultra-right nationalist” by his side. If so, owe up! Now is it me or is there a bunch of bomb scares and Jewish grave stones getting knocked over lately? My president was outraged like me, but stopped short of doing anything about it. Why may I ask?

Here is that smell again! I’m in the autumn of my life, but I owe my father, God rest his soul. He gave his leg fighting what an ultra-right nationalist turns into when he was left unchecked.

And last but not least, is my quest for my president to show his bravery in those tax returns. You said you would show us, so what is up or is there “30 pieces of silver” from the Russians in them? Please prove me wrong.

It is still the home of the brave! You don’t have to build a wall for this invasion; we have one. It was built to put this country back together. It has 58,000 names of Americans that gave their last full measure of devotion to keep communists away from the land of the free. I don’t doubt their bravery; I want to live up to them. My president should too!
