Local newspaper not like mainstream media
First, I want to differentiate between what some have come to call the, the MSM, aka mainstream media, and our little survivalist newspaper here in the greater Mon Valley, which began as Uniontown’s reliable daily media product…and has had to expand its coverage to make up for loses in readership support due to technological advances such as the Internet. The Internet? An advancement or not, it is here to stay. The Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ will, sadly, go the way of other familiar and community-supported activities like adult softball leagues. Didn’t think about that didja? Gone…. but fondly remembered.
Mainstream media, aka, MSM, has an agenda which serves a globalist control plan for minimizing the individual to a mere consumer, a robotic and controlled, predictably reliable and obedient sheep-like follower. The Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ does not benefit from such a philosophical program. The local newspapers benefit the normal human psychological need to know what is going on where We live, work, and interact as commercial units of divine consciousness.
It is this divine need for some kind of community decency And trust that the Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ is valued and supported. We need to know who the evil-minded people are so we can control Their selfish activities that benefit no-one but themselves, and know who we can rely upon in our business relationships to look out For their neighbor’s well being. That is why we need the local newspaper — it is because we both, readers and publishers need to Be able to trust that we are not being manipulated for some global control agenda which is not the aim of the local population.
The local population just wants to survive the unforeseen and unpredictable events. And for over 200 years, we here in Fayette County and the Mon Valley have survived.
It has been a battle, an ongoing war between selfishness and noble-mindedness, between honesty and deception, between hate of others and love of others, between giving one another the “benefit of the doubt’ and prejudicial skepticism. All of which Adds to the drama of the local political tug-a-war which, I guess, makes life more interesting, even if frustrating to those like Myself who know we all deserve better… much, much better.
Well, that’s about all I have to say. The MSM , mainstream media, is not our partner in the battle for survival of Fayette County or the Mon Valley. The Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ wants us to live as peacefully as is possible according to the very real limits of human intelligence and common sense. So keep this difference in mind when you here the accusation from other quarters that the MSM is in business of “fake news.” Perhaps? Probably! But our local newspaper is staffed by neighbors and men and women who must make their livelihood locally, in a decent and honorable manner. They deserve our support for now… until further evidence indicates that they, like the MSM have betrayed our trust. I pray that day never comes. And so should we all.
