Outdoors calendar
Running deer shoot — The South Connellsville Rod & Gun Club will host a running deer shoot every Sunday in October starting at 1 p.m. The shoot is open to the public. The shooting range will be closed starting at 12 p.m. to allow for this event.
Ham and turkey shoot — Dunbar Sportsman’s Club will host a ham and turkey shoot at 1 p.m. Sunday at the clubhouse. Shotguns and .22s. Refreshments available and everyone is welcome.
