Lesner vs. Goldberg II?
Lesnar vs. Goldberg II set?
WrestleMania XX in 2004 saw two classic title matches, the return of the original Undertaker character, and some other decent bouts.
However, there was one infamous match on the card when Goldberg defeated Brock Lesnar in a match that was booed out of Madison Square Garden by the fans.
I will save the reason for the negative reaction for a future column, but earlier this week a major step was taken in what looks like a rematch will take place between the two.
For a couple months now, both Lesnar and Goldberg have publicly stated that they were open for a rematch, and now it appears that it could happen as soon as next month at the Survivor Series.
However, if I was the WWE, I would the save the match for the Royal Rumble, and the WWE has 70,000 or so reasons why.
Royal Rumble heading back to the Alamo Dome
Earlier this week, the WWE announced that the Royal Rumble will return to the Alamo Dome in San Antonio, TX 20 years to the month of the last PPV in the building.
If the WWE is going to pull a Lesnar and Goldberg rematch, why not wait until they need to fill a dome instead of a 15,000-seat arena like they will do for the Survivor Series?
Banks, Charlotte making history
This past Monday on Raw, Sasha Banks defeated Charlotte to win the Raw WomenĢƵ title in the main event of the show.
The match was the first womenĢƵ match to main event Raw since December 6, 2004 , when Trish Stratus and Lita faced off.
Now, word is that the duo may square off in a Hell in a Cell match later this month in what would be the first womenĢƵ Cell match.
Could that match main event the show?
If it did, it would be the first time a womenĢƵ match main evented a pay-per-view.
No Mercy tonight
Maybe Harper will appear tonight at No Mercy on the WWE Network.
The main event will see AJ Styles defend the WWE title against Dean Ambrose and John Cena in a triple threat match.
Other title matches include The Miz defending the Intercontinental title against Dolph Ziggler with Ziggler retiring if he loses, Rhyno and Heath Slater defend the tag titles against the UsoĢƵ, and Becky Lynch defends the Smackdown WomenĢƵ title against Alexis Bliss.
Other matches include Randy Orton facing Bray Wyatt, Nikki Bella taking on Carmella, and Jack Swagger squaring off with Baron Corbin.
WWE Roadblock tickets now on sale
Tickets are now on sale for the Raw pay-per-view special emanating from Pittsburgh on December 18.
The show will take place at the newly named PPG Paints Arena, formerly CONSOL Energy Center, and tickets start at $25.

WWE buying TNA tape library?
Last week, we looked at potential investors that could buy TNA.
It now looks like the WWE may only buy the tape library and if that happens, look for TNA to be rebranded.
With the TNA film archives, WWE will have well over a decadeĢƵ worth of footage on Styles and Samoa Joe as well as a few other performers.
Wyatt Family roster moves
Erick Rowan will be out of action for up to months after having rotator cuff surgery earlier this week while Luke Harper has returned to the ring on the Raw tour overseas.
Will Harper return to Raw, or did the WWE send him overseas on purpose to throw fans off thinking he would return to Raw when he will actually head to Smackdown?
This weekĢƵ question: Now that Braun Strowman has asked for better competition, will you tell me that he will not beat up other “big” men like Mark Henry and The Big Show? Nick Bell, Connellsville.
I would have to think that The Big Show will definitely be on StrowmanĢƵ list in the future as the WWE will try to build him up as the next great big man.
I can see a victory over Henry as well.
Therefore, to answer your question, yes, I will tell you that the WWE will be feeding the normal big men to Strowman.
