Ho, hum, get ready for ‘Brady, Belichick, Pats greatest ever’
I think Super Bowl 51 will be close. I really do. Even so, there is no allure to this game for me whatsoever. ItĢƵ all just “Yay, the Patriots win No. 5, Brady is the greatest player of all time, Belichick is the greatest coach of all time, itĢƵ the greatest dynasty of all time … blah, blah, blah.” The Falcons are a very good team, no doubt, and I believe they’ll play well but they have two strikes against them: 1. They’re not the New York Giants. 2. They’re very similar to two past teams vanquished by New England in the Super Bowl, the Panthers and Eagles, in that they’re just happy to finally get there. No interest in even watching it. Patriots win in some dramatic fashion again, 30-28. I asked my two sons, wondering if they sense an upset. Nope. They’re on the Pats blowout bandwagon. Colton, 12, says 34-17 and Westley, 11, says 31-14.
