Wrestling show coming to Brownsville

By Bill Hughes for The 2 min read

RYSE will put on a pro wrestling fundraiser show at Brownsville High School this coming Saturday.

The event will raise money for the girls softball team and it starts at 7 p.m.

Brownsville Athletic Director Bill Rouse spearheaded the show and is excited.

“It is a chance for our softball program to raise some money while providing wrestling fans the opportunity to see a top-notch promotion in RYSE which is growing under the leadership of Jason Clements.

“He is doing a great job with his family-friendly promotion, and the show will benefit RYSE by allowing it to draw in new fans.”

Clements spoke about the show.

“We are excited to help Brownsville’s softball team,” he said. “The show is for a great cause and we plan on delivering an event that will make fans want to make the short drive to Lemont Furnace for our next show.”

Lee Moriarty against Jack Pollock is the featured bout and fans will see why their first match a few weeks ago is considered the top match in Pittsburgh so far this year.

Other matches include Lock and Loaded taking on Tony Johnson and Matt Conrad, Dalton Throttle taking on Sean Phoenix, Drake Braddock taking on M.V. Young, Dan Sandwich versus Chris Marx, Edric Everhart against “The Rev” Ron Hunt, and Sniper taking on Thunder.

Ringside tickets are $15 and general admission seats are $10.
