Quips defeat Yough, 54-20
Aliquippa led 41-0 at halftime Friday and then the Quips cruised through the second half for a 54-20 non-conference road victory at Yough.
Dustin Shoaf led the Cougars (3-4) with 134 yards rushing on 28 carries and a 45-yard run. Shoaf also hit Gamal Marballie for a 62-yard touchdown pass.
Marballie scored on a 7-yard run late in the fourth quarter.
Eli Kosanovich completed 6-of-13 passes for the Quips (7-0), including touchdown passes of 15, 18 and 34 yards.聽
