Raiders lose on the road at Quaker Valley, 46-14
Waynesburg Central rallied to within a touchdown in the second quarter Friday night, but Quaker Valley rallied with the next 26 points for a 46-14 victory in Tri-County West Conference action.
The Raiders’ Luke Robinson scored on a 5-yard run and Caleb Shriver followed with a 60-yard touchdown run to cut the deficit to six points after Scott Benco hit both extra points.
Waynesburg Central goes to 0-5 in the conference and 1-6 overall.
Ethan Moore scored on runs of 5, 5 and 1 yards for Quaker Valley (3-2, 3-3).
