Southmoreland broke the Interstate Conference game wide open with 43 points in the second quarter Friday night as the Scotties defeated Shenango, 72-28, in non-conference action.

Ronnie Robinson scored four touchdowns and ran for 179 yards on 17 carries for the Scotties (4-4). Riley Comforti caught seven passes for 113 yards and two touchdowns.

Southmoreland’s Zach Cernuto completed 15-of-26 passes for 197 yards and scoring passes of 39 and 32 yards to Comforti.

Santino Campoli completed 13-of-20 passes for 204 yards and two touchdowns.
