Callaway leads Leopards to 48-0 win over Plum
Larry Callaway powered his way to 263 yards rushing and two touchdowns Friday night in Belle Vernon’s 48-0 victory over visiting Plum in non-conference action.
Callaway had touchdown runs of 9 and 69 yards as the Leopards improved to 7-1 overall.
Belle Vernon’s Anthony Bertram scored on runs of 3 and 6 yards, and had three receptions for 40 yards. Joe Federer powered into the end zone from two yards out early in the second quarter.
Andy Pacak had a hand in the two fourth quarter touchdowns, the first on a 7-yard pass to Hunter Ruokonen and the second on a 4-yard run.
Nolan Labuda, Federer, and Damani Johnson had interceptions for Belle Vernon.
